Whether an organization currently operates a Mobile Health clinic or is planning to launch a new community mobile outreach program, the Forum curriculum is designed to enhance administrative skills and expand the knowledge-base to ensure effective and sustainable Mobile Healthcare services. Healthcare practitioners and administrators will share their insights and invaluable expertise on a broad range of topics reflecting the general theme. The Forum is an extraordinary educational and networking opportunity for mobile health specialists to develop long-term resources and to meet over 250 professional colleagues from across the country that serve in the mobile clinic environment. The Forum promotes knowledge, networking, and leadership, all integrated to ensure a productive and inspiring experience for attendees in presentation-style sessions and interactive roundtable peer discussions. General and breakout session speakers offer in-depth presentations in dedicated discipline tracks around: mammography/women's health, oral healthcare, preventative care, and primary and/or specialty care.
You are cordially invited to submit an Abstract to be considered
for presentation at the 2017 Annual Mobile Health Clinics Forum
MHCA's conference planning committee has been working hard on the 13th Annual Mobile Health Clinics Forum. We recognize that all of you are developing new approaches to care, implementing new methods of community outreach and engaging in other quality improvement activities. We hope to make the Breakout Sessions interactive opportunities in which you can share the activities you’ve undertaken this year and report on measurable outcomes.
Ask yourself these two questions:
1. Did this intervention help my program develop?
2. If it did, will it help other mobile programs to develop?
If the answer is "Yes" to both of these questions, you are invited to submit an abstract. Don't forget that sometimes when an intervention doesn't work as planned, it can still provide your program with valuable information that may be beneficial to other programs.
The structure for the abstract (please limit to two or three paragraphs) of your submission should be as follows:
1. Into which category (see below) does your submission fall?
2. What challenge or opportunity was your program facing?
3. What intervention(s) were implemented to address the challenge or opportunity?
4. What were the outcomes (preferably measured) of the intervention?
5. What are 3 learning objectives attendees should learn by the end of the session?

Submitted Abstracts will be peer-reviewed. Preference will be accorded to MHCA members. Accepted Abstracts will be published in the official Forum Program.
Speakers are required to be members of MHCA and register for the Forum, unless otherwise arranged with MHCA. Special discounted registration fees have been established for speakers: MHCA Member @ $535 per person. If your organization is not a member of MHCA and you are selected to speak, you must register as a Non-Member @ $745 first speaker (this fee includes annual membership for your organization) and $535 second speaker. Honoraria and compensation for travel and housing are not available.
